BAMBOO

Writer: Francesca Elizabeth Francesca Elizabeth

I've noticed a pattern within myself where if I begin to be a little bit "too" sassy it's because I've taken on way too much energy and haven't allowed the time to get grounded or expend it; Sass is good, but when you're more of an ass than you are sassy, yeah - it's time to listen to what its trying to tell me. It's time to transmute this energy and allow it to move towards something more positive. It's definitely time for a brake. Social media hiatus is how I begin - I've simply uninstalled the apps from my phone. I don't delete my accounts, -I find it works better when I have made it harder for myself to access my accounts so what I also do is change my passwords because who likes to do password recoveries? Not I. See? Brilliant ;) This break lands in perfect timing, as always, with planting season upon us and makes for the perfect opportunity to grow alongside something else that will, too, bare fruit. So as I take this brake as a bend so that I don't break I look forward and up to learning new ways of self soothing and welcoming the winds, sun and rain that make for stronger stems and deeply grounded roots and, ultimately, nourishing fruit.
